Pedro Guitián
Co-Founder & President
Physician, Oral Surgeon, DDS, MSc, PhD and Fellow of the International College of Dentists (FICD). Founder and CEO of Clínica Guitián, a multidisciplinary surgical practice specializing in complex oral surgery, implant dentistry, esthetic rehabilitation and digitally guided treatments. With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Pedro has built his career at the intersection of surgery, innovation and patient care. He is an educator, international speaker and recognized leader in oral surgery, implantology and digital dentistry. As a practicing clinician, he experienced firsthand the challenges of fragmented dental data, disconnected systems and inefficient collaboration across the care journey. This led him to co-found GEMEDATA and HISTORA with a clear vision: to create the infrastructure that enables a more connected, transparent and patient-centered future for dentistry.
Elena López Alvar
Co-Founder & CEO
Dentist, researcher and healthcare strategist with more than 15 years of experience in clinical practice, scientific research and healthcare innovation. Deputy Director of Clínica Guitián and recipient of the National Colgate Award in Prevention and Periodontology. Elena holds a PhD in Health Biotechnology, specializing in predictive models based on clinical, genetic and microbiological data. As CEO of HISTORA, she leads the company's vision, strategy and execution. Her mission is to build the data and intelligence layer for modern dentistry, creating a more transparent, connected and patient-centered future for care. She is leading HISTORA's agentic-first approach, where networks of intelligent agents transform fragmented clinical information into actionable knowledge, enabling better decisions, greater transparency and a more preventive model of healthcare.
Matías Molinas
CTO
Engineer with 27 years of experience in software engineering, artificial intelligence and large-scale technology platforms, including a distinguished career at Google. As CTO of HISTORA, Matías leads the development of the company's data, AI and interoperability infrastructure. His work focuses on transforming fragmented clinical information into connected, intelligent and actionable healthcare data. He is building the foundation for HISTORA's agentic-first vision, where intelligent systems help clinicians, patients and healthcare organizations make better decisions through connected data.
Ismael Faro
Strategic Advisor
Former Vice President of IBM Quantum and AI, technology executive and pioneer in advanced computing systems. Ismael played a pivotal role in architecting IBM Quantum Experience, the world's first public quantum cloud platform, and was among the original contributors to Qiskit, one of the most widely adopted open-source quantum computing frameworks. At HISTORA, he advises on artificial intelligence, intelligent systems and long-term technology strategy, helping shape the evolution of the platform as a data and intelligence layer for healthcare.
